BH Lee has a diverse educational background spanning over several institutions and fields of study. In 1978, they attended Methodist Primary School in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia and completed their Primary 6 education, obtaining a degree in PSLE. From 1984 to 1987, Lee attended Anglo-Chinese School in Singapore, where they obtained a degree in GCE "O" Level, with a focus on Science. Continuing their education, Lee attended Hwa Chong Junior College in Singapore from 1988 to 1989, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, and receiving a degree in GEC "A" Level. In 1990, they enrolled in the National University of Singapore and pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering, which they completed in 1994, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng). Lee continued their studies at the same university, receiving a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial & System Engineering from 1996 to 1999. They furthered their education at the National University of Singapore by earning another MSc degree, this time in Management of Technology, from 1999 to 2001. Finally, in 2011, Lee attended eCornell and obtained a certificate in Leadership.
