Alma Alvarez is an experienced ESL Instructor at Instituto del Progreso Latino since April 2018, where responsibilities include preparing students for further education and administering assessments. Prior to this role, Alma served as a Pharmacy Technician at Omnicare from March 2006 to October 2017, managing medication operations for long-term care facilities. Additionally, Alma held a position as a Legal Assistant at The Javier Law Firm LLC from December 2014 to March 2016, focusing on case preparation and legal research. Alma also worked as a Paraprofessional at Rockford Public Schools in 2013, providing support for students with special needs. Alma holds a Bachelor's degree in Justice Studies/Social Justice from Northeastern Illinois University, earned between 2012 and 2015.
