Morten Tjelta

Research Scientist at Institute for Energy Technology

Morten Tjelta is a Research Scientist at the Institute for Energy Technology, where involvement in the Department of Materials and Corrosion Technology includes research on CO2 transport, geothermal energy, and water electrolysis since October 2013. Previously, Morten served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the same department, focusing on sour corrosion and iron sulphide (electro)chemistry. Morten's academic journey includes a PhD at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from August 2009 to October 2013, with research concentrated on the electrochemical and photoelectrochemical characterization of porous semiconducting electrodes. Morten holds a Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, completed in 2009.
