Gorm Krogh Johnsen is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Energy Technology since August 2010. Prior to this role, Gorm served as a volunteer and assistant for Astrofestivalen at the University of Oslo from November 2002 to November 2011 and was a PhD stipendiat. Gorm also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oslo between August 2004 and December 2005, where responsibilities included teaching small groups of students and grading. Gorm's early academic background includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Oslo. Previous positions include a summer student at Max Born Institut in 2003, focusing on experimental work in non-linear optics, and serving as a medic in Forsvaret from August 1999 to June 2001, where Gorm was responsible for first aid during KFOR III, alongside compulsory military service training.
