Kei-ichi Takata currently serves as Section Head at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) since July 2018. Prior to this role, Kei-ichi Takata held positions at MD Anderson Cancer Center, progressing from Instructor and Postdoctoral Researcher from 2008 to 2013 to Assistant Professor from September 2013 to June 2018. Kei-ichi Takata completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology/Biological Sciences from Tokyo University of Science, with postdoctoral research conducted at the University of Pittsburgh from 2004 to 2008.
