Philippe Allain has extensive experience in law enforcement and military leadership, currently serving as Commandant de la Police cantonale and Chef de la Gendarmerie fribourgeoise at Etat de Fribourg since August 2011. Philippe Allain also holds the position of Directeur de cours at the Institut Suisse de Police, focusing on police tactics training. In the Swiss Army, Philippe Allain serves as Commandant of the Détachement recherche et protection de la police militaire, having previously held the role of Commandant de bataillon for Hospital Battalion 2. Additional roles include project management at the Université de Fribourg and contributions to various organizations, such as managing concert events and serving as a rédacteur adjoint for the Swiss Military Review. Philippe Allain holds a Master of Arts in History and Political Sciences and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in police engagement management.
