Ruben Hartkoorn is a distinguished researcher with extensive experience in pharmacology and infectious disease research. Currently serving as Team Leader at the Institut Pasteur de Lille since 2016, Ruben previously held the position of Principal Investigator at the Center for Infection and Immunity of Lille from October 2015 to September 2023, focusing on infection and immunity research supported by various institutions. Ruben has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Université de Genève, EPFL, and the University of Liverpool, contributing to significant projects in areas such as target deconvolution for anti-tuberculosis compounds and the pharmacokinetics of anti-HIV drugs. Ruben holds a PhD in Pharmacology from The University of Sheffield and a postdoctoral degree from EPFL, showcasing a solid foundation in drug action and efficacy.
