Max CHAFFANET has extensive experience in oncogenomics, currently serving as the team leader in research at Institut Paoli-Calmettes since July 2000, where the group is part of the Molecular Oncology Department within CRCM U891 INSERM. Concurrently, Max CHAFFANET has been a part-time lecturer in oncogenomics and scientific communication at Université Aix-Marseille II since September 2013, teaching courses at both Master's levels. Previous roles include professor of cellular biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology at the Ecole d’Ostéopathie de Marseille from October 2015 to May 2018, and a member of the scientific and pedagogical commission during that period. Earlier in the career, Max CHAFFANET worked as a biologist at Institut Paoli Calmettes and held a postdoctoral position at the Center for Human Genetics in Belgium. Educational qualifications include an International Global Executive MBA from KEDGE Business School, a Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches in Genome and Cancer from Aix-Marseille University, and a PhD in Biology from Université Grenoble Alpes.
