Joseph de Weck serves as a Senior Fellow at Institut Montaigne since April 2024 and holds the position of Europe Director and Senior Advisor (Europe) at Greenmantle since January 2018. Associated with the Foreign Policy Research Institute as a Fellow in the European Security Initiative since May 2020, Joseph also contributes as a Columnist for Internationale Politik Quarterly (formerly Berlin Policy Journal) with the German Council on Foreign Relations since September 2019. Prior experience includes advising the Swiss Federal Administration on Brexit and financial services from May 2013 to April 2017, and reporting on Germany and the European Central Bank for Bloomberg LP from April 2012 to April 2013. Joseph's early career involved internships with the European Parliament, the Swiss Mission to the EU, and the European Commission. Academically, Joseph holds Master's degrees in European Affairs from Sciences Po and International Affairs and Governance from the University of St.Gallen, along with a Bachelor of Science in History and International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
