Mate Pezer currently serves as the head of the structural design division at Institut IGH d.d., where responsibilities include bridge and structural design, auditing for mechanical resistance and stability, project management, and acting as a court expert. Prior to this role, Mate Pezer worked at AECOM Company / URS Corporation as a bridge designer, leading a team of bridge designers and serving as project manager from March 2013 to January 2019. Mate Pezer also held similar positions at AECOM and began a career in bridge and structural design at Hidroeletra-projekt from March 1999 to March 2013, after an initial role as a technological engineer at Hidroelektra Niskogradnja d.d. Mate Pezer holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Zagreb, obtained between 1991 and 1997.
