Marija Simic is an experienced professional with a diverse background in research, development, and strategic operations. Currently at the European Commission in the DG ENV since February 2014, Marija focuses on the LIFE programme. Simic also continues to work at IGH Holding in research and development since February 2013. Previous roles include working at KPMG in strategy and operations, where contributions included developing client performance tools and analyzing corporate restructuring. Marija has held positions at the European Commission's Executive Agency for Health and Consumers, Heriot-Watt University, and IGH Holding, engaging in project proposal coordination and public-private partnership matters. Marija's educational background includes multiple MSc degrees in Strategic Project Management from Heriot-Watt University, MIP Politecnico di Milano, and Umeå University, as well as an MSc in strategy and corporate governance and a BSc in Strategic Management from esteemed institutions in Croatia.
