Benjamin Besse serves as the Head of Clinical Research and Head of the Cancer Medicine Department at Gustave Roussy since November 2005. Additionally, Benjamin Besse holds the position of Chair of the Thoracic Tumor Board and is an Associate Professor of Medicine. At Université Paris-Saclay, Benjamin Besse has been a Full Professor in Medical Oncology since September 2017. Involvement with the EORTC since January 2014 includes roles as Chair of the Scientific Chair Council and Chair of the Lung Cancer Group. Furthermore, Benjamin Besse has been the Coordinator of the French thymic malignancies network, RYTHMIC, since December 2010.
