Sophie M. is an experienced professional currently serving as an Attaché nucléaire at the French Permanent Mission to the UN in Vienna since March 2023. As a member of the Nuclear and Strategy Network - New Generation at Ifri since October 2021, Sophie also worked as a Consultant and Community Manager for Expertise France from October 2022 to January 2024, focusing on digital communication for the EUP2P-ATT project related to the Arms Trade Treaty. Previous roles include legal studies and instruction at the Ministry of Armed Forces and the Prime Minister's Office, as well as research responsibilities at the Foundation for Strategic Research and an internship at the French Parliament. Sophie holds multiple academic degrees, including a Master 2 in History focusing on Defense and Security from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III, and has participated in the 124th cycle of the IHEDN-Young Auditors program.
