Patricia Ramirez Priego is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Engineer at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) since April 2017. Previously, Patricia held a Project Engineering position at Consejo Superior de Investigaciones CientÃficas from December 2015 to April 2017, and completed a Master Thesis at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) in 2016, focusing on the association between polymorphic inversions and miRNA in cancer data under the supervision of Dr. Juan Ramón González. Patricia also conducted a Bachelor Thesis at ICN2 in 2015, supervised by Prof. Laura M, on the detection of exosomes and their RNA in tumor media. In 2014, Patricia completed a summer internship at ICN2 and organized the 3rd edition of the Conference of Biotechnologists with ASBTEC in 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Biotechnology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2017-2021), a Master’s Degree in Omics Data Analysis from Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (2015-2016), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from the same institution (2011-2015).
