Lucía Struth is an experienced professional in the field of geology and spatial data science, currently serving as a Developer at the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya since March 2020. Previously, Lucía held positions as a Post-Doc Researcher at the Institut de Ciències de la Terra Jaume Almera, and as a Research Co-Director at the Universidad Industrial de Santander. Academic roles include Assistant Professor in Global Tectonics, Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis, and Geological Cartography at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Additional experience includes conducting lab analyses at the University of Cincinnati and The University of Texas at Austin. Lucía's educational background includes a PhD and MSc in Geology, alongside various certifications in GIS and web development.
