Mike Sherman has diverse experience in the technology industry. Mike'smost recent role was as the Director of Data Engineering & Technology at InStep Health. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Technology Consultant for their own business. Mike also served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Qenta Inc., leading software development teams and working on blockchain technologies. Mike held the position of Head of Engineering at passionomy.tv and Director of Software Engineering at U.Group, where they were responsible for developing web applications and managing software engineering teams. Before that, Mike worked as a Senior Software Developer at ByteCubed. Mike started their career at Schreiber Foods as a Service Desk Specialist and then progressed to roles including Lead Technical Developer and Senior Software Developer, where they led software development projects and mentored interns. Prior to their professional career, Mike worked as a Helpdesk Assistant at Northern Michigan University.

Mike Sherman attended Northern Michigan University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Mathematics. In addition to their degree, Mike has also obtained certifications in HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in June 2020, AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2019, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from AWS in May 2020.
