JR Latta has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. JR is currently working as a Software Engineer at Instawork since 2023. Before that, JR was the Founder of DesignFlows, a SaaS company that develops a Generative Design platform for architectural facades. JR founded the company in 2022 and worked till 2023. Prior to that, JR worked at Universe Corporation as a Technology Lead from 2019 to 2023. In this role, they worked on software development projects and achieved significant improvements in estimating time and fab drawing. Before that, JR was a Co-Founder at Byzantine Technologies, a proprietary trading firm focused on cryptocurrency market making and quantitative strategies. JR co-founded the firm in 2018 and worked till 2019. JR also has experience working at Belvedere Trading, LLC as a Quantitative Trader and Hybrid Trader Intern from 2016 to 2018. JR started their career as an Advanced Analytics Intern at Mastercard in 2015.

JR Latta attended Cornell University from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Operations Research - Engineering.
