Simon Candy has worked in the insurance and financial industries for over 25 years. In 2021, they joined INSTANDA as a Senior Propositions and Business Development Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Aviva from 2003 to 2021 in various roles including Senior Tax Manager - Product & Customer Taxes, Propositions Lead- SME Solutions, Senior Product & Technical Manager - Group Protection, and Product Manager - Individual/Group Income Protection. Before Aviva, Simon Candy worked at HSBC Bank from 1996 to 2003.

Simon Candy obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Southampton Institute of Higher Education between 1992 and 1995. Prior to that, they attended Corfe Hills Upper School. Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications, including GR1 (Group Risk Certificate in Financial Planning) from The Chartered Institute of Insurers in 2009, CeFA 1, 2, 3 (Certificate for Financial Advisers) from The Chartered Institute of Bankers in 2003, Advanced Certificate in Marketing Management & Practice from The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2001, and a BA Business Administration in 1995.
