Danusa Colares has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple years in various roles. Danusa began their career as a Business Consultant at Intelligent Analysis GmbH in 2010. Danusa later worked as a PMO Assistant at Siemens Enterprise Communications, where they managed and deployed MS Project for IT initiatives. In 2013, they became a Business Consultant at Alejandro Informática/New Software Intelligence, where they served as a Regional Manager and Consultant on Sales for a Foreign Trade Software Company.
In 2014, Danusa joined Nutrivil Indústria e Comércio de Rações Ltda. as an International Business Development Manager. Danusa then started their own business, Kompass Foreign Trade Consulting, where they designed and implemented a business model for Foreign Trade Consulting and provided training in international negotiation skills to local business entrepreneurs. Danusa also coached students to develop international business market research.
Danusa continued their education at Karlshochschule International University, where they volunteered as a Student Volunteer in 2018 and as a Project Manager in 2019. Danusa then worked as an IT Consultant at PrimeIT from 2021 to 2022 before taking on the role of a Project Manager in the Program Management Office at Wunderman Thompson Commerce. Currently, they hold the position of Project Manager at INSTANDA since 2023.

Danusa Colares has a diverse education history. In 2009, they attended The Berlin School of Economics and Law, where they studied Business/Managerial Economics. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in International Relations with a focus on Globalization and Intercultural Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. Danusa then went on to earn a Master's in Management degree with a specialization in Diversity Management from Karlshochschule International University from 2018 to 2020.
Continuing their academic journey, Danusa enrolled at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management as a PhD student in Economics and Sociology in 2020, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, they are currently attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to study Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with an anticipated completion date in 2023.
