Felipe Menares has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Felipe started their career as an Assistant Technician at the Laboratory of Soil and Water Chemistry at the University of Chile in 2011. After that, Felipe worked as a Research Assistant at the Bioengineering Laboratory of CINB at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez from 2009 to 2012.
In 2012, Felipe became an Engineering Project Manager at SAX Sistemas Analíticos Cia. Ltda, where they implemented chemical measurement methodologies in mining substrates. Felipe also created a sub-laboratory for wet analysis at SAX S. A.
Following this, Felipe worked as an Engineer of Projects at Chile from 2013 to 2014, where they created an educational program for small farmers on the implementation and execution of technified irrigation systems. Felipe also provided environmental consultancy services to Uníon Química Ltda.
In 2015, Felipe held two positions concurrently. Felipe was an Independent Consultant, providing environmental advice to Uníon Química Ltda. Additionally, they served as an IP Project Engineer at AT-EME S.A., participating in an environmental soil compensation project and conducting environmental inspections for an electrical transmission line.
From 2017 to 2020, Felipe worked as an Edaphologist at servicios agroprecision limitada. Felipe conducted soil studies and assessments. In 2019, Felipe had a short-term role as a Soil and Environmental Studies Engineer at Suelo-Ambiente Consultores, where they focused on transcription, report writing, and map creation.
Most recently, Felipe joined Agrologica Ltda. as an Edaphologist in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of a Customer Success Manager at Instacrops since November 2020.
Felipe Menares obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Agronomy and Plant Production from Universidad de Chile, where they studied from 2002 to 2009. In 2012, they completed their Master's degree in Soil and Water Management at the same institution. In 2017, they pursued a Diplomate in Environmental Management at Duoc UC, with a focus on Environmental Sciences. Most recently, in 2020, Felipe pursued a Diplomate in Applied Geomatics at Universidad de Chile.
