Kerry Chang is the Head of Engineering at Instabase, where the mission focuses on transforming unstructured data into insightful AI-driven solutions since July 2018. Kerry has held various roles at Instabase, including Director of Engineering, overseeing product engineering, design, and technical documentation, and multiple Engineering Manager positions responsible for significant product areas such as workflow UX, execution engines, and deep learning infrastructures. Additionally, Kerry served as a Senior Research Scientist, contributing broadly as an early team member in NYC. Prior to Instabase, Kerry was a Research Staff Member at IBM, involved in the Cloud Functions research team and the development of the IBM Cloud Function Shell. Kerry earned a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Computer Science from National Taiwan University.
