Heikki Mansikka has a diverse and extensive work experience in the defense and aviation industry. Heikki currently holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the Finnish National Defence University. In 2022, they became the owner of Check Six, where they authored the book "Hornet-lentäjä" and also worked as a speaker. Prior to these roles, Heikki Mansikka served as the Chief Air Combat Scientist at Insta Group starting from 2019. From 2015 to 2018, they held the position of Senior Manager Pilot Performance at Etihad Airways. Heikki Mansikka has an extensive education history. In 1992 to 1996, they attended the Finnish Defence University, where they obtained a degree as a Commissioned Officer, with a field of study in Air Force and Pilot training.
In 2006 to 2007, Heikki Mansikka pursued further studies at various institutions in the United Kingdom. Heikki obtained a Master's degree in Defence Studies from King's College London.
