Mia Rebecca Burns is a Trainee Forensic Psychologist at the Northern Ireland Civil Service since June 2024, having previously gained extensive experience in mental health and support roles. Current positions include Relief Project Worker and Project Worker at Inspire since September 2020, and Background Artist at The Extras Department since November 2015. Past roles include Volunteer at Samaritans where emotional support was provided, Mental Health Adviser at Queen's University Belfast, and Listener at Belfast Royal Academy. Mia has also worked as a Support Worker at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, assisting residents in rehabilitation for substance and alcohol addiction, and served as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust while pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Forensic Psychology. Retail experience as a Sales Assistant at New Look further developed organizational and time management skills during university studies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science from King's College London and a Bachelor of Science from Queen's University Belfast.
