Michael Benusa is an Associate Electrical Engineer at Inspire Medical Systems since May 2022, where collaboration with a team of six engineers focuses on verifying ASIC design for an implantable stimulation therapy device, including testing for brownout scenarios in end-of-life battery models. Previously, Michael held the position of System Protection Engineer Intern at Xcel Energy from May 2021 to June 2022, working on updating the CAPE database for substation structures and ensuring accurate modeling of existing schematics. Michael completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of St. Thomas between 2019 and 2023.
