Peter Scarbrough is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Inspire since March 2020, with a career progression that includes roles as Team Lead, Senior Data Scientist, and Data Scientist. Previously, Peter held the position of Senior Research Associate at Duke University from August 2011 to April 2018, where expertise in statistics, epidemiology, and population science was applied to significant research projects, including a meta-analysis of genome-wide association studies that led to a first-authorship manuscript. Peter's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Statistics from NC State University and a PhD in Radiation Biology from the University of Iowa.
