Jana Mitchell is a Principal Scientist at insitro since January 2021, leading the iMPACT team in adapting induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models for production, automation, and customized translation, focusing on high-throughput cell culture. Previously, Jana held various positions at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from 2014 to January 2021, including Senior Scientist, Research Scientist, and Postdoctoral Researcher under Dr. Kevin Eggan. Additionally, Jana served as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University alongside Dr. Steve Hyman, where the course explored the relationship between brain function and human behavior. Education includes a PhD in Cell Biology and Anatomy from The Rockefeller University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Alberta.
