Maaz Shaikh is an experienced Prozessingenieur specializing in surface analytics, currently employed at INSION GmbH since October 2018. Prior to this role, Maaz conducted a master's thesis at SICK Sensor Intelligence, where development and manufacturing of optical gloss sensors took place, alongside work on various surface materials. Maaz also interned at Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE, focusing on photovoltaic module design and testing to enhance efficiency, and contributed significantly to process technology and microsystems at IMTEK, University of Freiburg. Academic credentials include a master's degree in Microsystems Engineering with a focus on Embedded Systems from The University of Freiburg and a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pakistan Institute of Engineering & Applied Sciences.
