Uro L. is a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities, focusing on alternative data alpha since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, where research on revenue-maximizing auctions was accepted at AISTATS 2022. Uro also co-led the Smith Investment Fund in systematic strategy research and completed software engineering internships at Facebook, contributing to projects on question answering and civic integrity. Additional experience includes a quantitative research internship at Millennium Management LLC. Uro holds a degree from the University of Maryland and attended Montgomery Blair High School's Math, Science, and Computer Science Magnet program.
