Shannon Crist has extensive experience in various supportive and advocacy roles within the human services sector. Currently serving as a Care Manager at Insight Human Services, Inc. since May 2017, Shannon previously worked as a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Advocate at Randolph County Family Crisis Center from May 2015 to May 2017, where responsibilities included assisting clients with protective orders and managing crisis line support. Prior roles include Relief Resident Advisor at Charlotte Family Housing, Dog Grooming Assistant at Midway Animal Clinic, Summer Intern at Mission Waco, and work study positions at Kentucky Christian University and Dusina's Pizza. Shannon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Appalachian State University and graduated from North Davidson High School in 2010.
