Michelle Cawley has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Fairfield University in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a French and English teacher for the Association des Quartiers IDMAJ. In 2016, they were a Laboratory Central Processing Clerk at Waterbury Hospital. In 2017, they were a French Translator for USAID Food Aid Quality Review in Burkina Faso. In 2018, they were a Nutrition Intern at Mercy Corps. Finally, in 2019 they began their current roles as Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Science Team Manager at InsideTracker.

Michelle Cawley earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Fairfield University in 2016, having studied there from 2012 to 2016. Michelle then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences from The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, which they completed in 2019.
