Mark Maclaine is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the education and creative industries. As Co-Founder and Chief Learning Officer at Uppercent since October 2022, Mark leads support for creators and oversees the production of video content and courses. Mark also serves as a Presenter and Writer for MEL Science, and has been a Co-founder and Board Member of Tutorfair Foundation since January 2012, focusing on educational inequality and providing support to over 10,000 students. In addition, Mark has a robust background in the film and music industry as a Film Producer and Director, and a Music Producer with over 50 albums to the credit. Mark’s previous roles include Co-founder and CEO of Toxic Arts, and Co-founder and Director of Education at Tutorfair, among others. Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication with Audio Visual Production from King's College London and London Metropolitan University.
