Scot Kennedy has extensive work experience in the technology and life sciences industries. Scot currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Inotiv since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Consulting Specialist at Various Companies from April 2021 to May 2023, where they handled short-term contracts related to IT strategy, roadmaps, M&A diligence, software selection, and price negotiations in the clinical and preclinical sectors. Scot previously held the position of Retired Chief Business Technology Officer starting from November 2020 to May 2023. Scot spent a significant part of their career at Charles River Laboratories, where they held various roles, including IT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture, Corporate Vice President, Chief Business Technology Officer, Corporate Vice President, Global Scientific IT, Divisional CIO, IT & Reporting, Global Preclinical Services, and Chief of IT Solutions Engineering. Scot's expertise lies in enterprise technologies such as SAP, financial data warehousing, and CRM systems. Scot was also responsible for successful integration and implementation of key systems at Inveresk Research (Charles River Acquired 2004), where they served as the IT Director for Clinical and Preclinical Services from March 1991 to May 2005.
Scot Kennedy attended the University of Glasgow from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Scot later pursued further education at the same university from 1985 to 1986, earning a Postgraduate Diploma in IT.
