Bernhard Schandl has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Kapsch CarrierCom AG. In 2004, they began working as a Lecturer and Researcher at Universität Wien. In 2009, they Co-Founded and became CTO of gnowsis.com - helping people remember. Bernhard also began working as a Lecturer at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien in the same year. In 2013, they became CTO and VP of Engineering at mySugr. In 2017, they were appointed Head of Technology at mySugr for Roche. In 2020, they became a Partner, Business Angel and Investor at Sweet Ventures, as well as Co-Founder and Tech Advisor at inoqo. Most recently, in 2021, they became Co-Founder and CTO of 9amHealth.

Bernhard Schandl attended the University of Vienna from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Doctor's Degree in Computer Science. From 1999 to 2004, they attended the Technische Universität Wien and the University of Vienna, where they earned a Master's Degree in Business Computer Science.
