Erkang Wang has worked in various roles since 2011. In 2011, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida, where they gained experience in wire bonding and testing for MEMS scanning mirrors, and front-end optical alignment for the MEMS-based confocal endoscopy. In 2014, they were a Graduate Student at The University of Arizona, where they worked for Dr. Euan Mcleod on the Phase retrieve algorithm for Fourier ptychography and far-field scattering simulation of small particles in an optical trap. From 2016 to 2022, they were a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant at Colorado State University, where they worked for Dr. Jesse Wilson on visible pump-probe microscopy for cytochrome imaging. In 2022, they became a Senior Optical Engineer at Innovusion.
