Alexandra Melnyk is a skilled laboratory technician with experience in environmental science and air instrumentation. Since November 2021, Alexandra has contributed to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as a contractor for the National Weather Service at the Sterling Field Support Center. Prior to this role, Alexandra worked as an environmental technician with TechLaw Consultants, Inc. and as an environmental scientist with Leidos, both focusing on air quality and response efforts under EPA contracts. Alexandra's background also includes internships in planetarium operations and positions in customer service, along with academic support as a teacher's assistant at the University of New Hampshire. Alexandra holds a Master’s degree in Applied Meteorology from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire.
