Amanda Dunaway

Special operations manager at Innovetive Petcare

Amanda Dunaway has a wealth of experience in the veterinary field. Amanda currently works as a Special Operations Manager at Innovetive Petcare, where they support the success and growth of hospitals and hospital leaders in IPC's portfolio of clinics. Prior to this, Amanda was a Regional Vice President of Operations at Thrive Pet Healthcare, responsible for overseeing the operational component of all Thrive clinics in the Southeast. Amanda also held the position of Vice President Operations/Special Ops at Thrive Pet Healthcare, where they specialized in improving culture, process, efficiency, and staffing.

Before joining Innovetive Petcare and Thrive Pet Healthcare, Amanda worked at MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets. During their time there, they held various roles including Director of Clinical Services, Director of Medical Operations, and Clinical Manager. Amanda played a key role in supporting all locations in the organization, assisting teams with process improvement, leadership development, and Integration. Amanda is highly skilled in emergency room techniques and clinical management, including triaging patients, IV placement, and advanced nursing. Amanda has a strong passion for cultivating healthy cultures, delivering exceptional client experience and patient care, and growing teams committed to these goals.

Amanda Dunaway has a diverse education history. In 2003 to 2005, they attended Columbus State, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant. In 2020 to 2021, they enrolled at Franklin University and pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Leadership and Management at Franklin University. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician from the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association in December 2004.
