Dr. Asha Patel is a clinical psychologist and the CEO of Innovating Minds, a social enterprise dedicated to providing early trauma-informed support to children and young people. With extensive experience in mental health education, Dr. Patel has served as a keynote speaker at various conferences, addressing topics such as exclusion rates in schools and the importance of a trauma and attachment-informed approach to mental health. Dr. Patel has also contributed to initiatives supporting women's professional development and has held leadership positions, including Chair of the Board of Trustees at Sophie's Stars and Non-Executive Director at Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust. Previous roles include senior clinical psychologist at St Andrew's Healthcare and assistant psychologist at various mental health organizations. Dr. Patel earned a Clinical Psychology Doctorate from the University of Birmingham and possesses a strong foundation in psychology and criminology.
