Bobby Zappala is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in social impact, investment management, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Program Officer at the Richard King Mellon Foundation since January 2022, Zappala leads the Social-Impact Investment program, focusing on funding innovative startups aligned with the Foundation's strategic goals. As Managing Partner at Localize Capital Management, Zappala promotes investments in sustainable, community-serving businesses and has been involved with the Pittsburgh Innovation District to enhance tech business attraction and retention. In addition, Zappala holds the position of Director at One America Works, fostering collaboration among growth companies.
