Michael Scarbrough is an experienced executive with a strong focus on healthcare and investment sectors. Currently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer at InnovAge since November 2024, Michael has also been an investor with POGA Companies since May 2013, concentrating on impactful investment opportunities in real estate, consumer products, and healthcare. Previously, Michael held significant roles including Business Unit CEO at Optum at Home, where oversight included home-based healthcare services for over 800,000 Medicare Advantage recipients, and Co-Founder & President of Prospero Health, a home-based medical care startup acquired by Optum. Michael's background also features senior leadership positions at Anthem, Amerigroup, TLC Family Care Healthplan, and Prudential Healthcare, contributing to extensive experience in provider relations, Medicaid development, and health care operations.
