Nicole began their career at GlaxoSmithKline, where they worked from 2004 to 2016 in various positions, including Territory Manager and Medical Strategy and Performance Manager. During their time at GlaxoSmithKline, Nicole demonstrated expertise in performance management, project management, and process improvement. In 2016, they joined the Town of Innisfil as a Business Performance Specialist, providing strategic support. Nicole quickly advanced within the organization, taking on the role of Operations Business Manager in 2019, and subsequently becoming the Director of Operations in 2020. In these positions, Nicole led diverse portfolios and played a crucial role in the Operations department's response to the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, they volunteered as a Project Co-Leader at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, where they focused on local economic development initiatives in South Africa.
