Floris Van Diest is a highly experienced data scientist and consultant with a strong background in financial risk management and data analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist - Data Solutions Manager at Inmarsat since October 2022, Floris has notably contributed to the development of data and analytics infrastructure for In-Flight Connectivity services. Previously, Floris held positions at Deliveroo, Sherpa Luggage Delivery, and Dozens, where responsibilities included leading data analytics efforts in multiple start-up environments. With extensive experience at Zanders, advising financial institutions on risk management, and a foundational internship at Deutsche Bank, Floris has built a comprehensive skill set in financial risk and data science. Floris holds a Master's degree in Econometrics & Operational Research from Maastricht University and has completed a Data Science Immersive program at General Assembly.
