Ammar Ali has extensive work experience in program and project management in the defense industry. Ammar is currently working at Inmarsat as a Programme Director, overseeing major bids and execution programs and leading STEM initiatives to attract talent in the Space Sector. Previously, they worked at Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine as a Senior Programme Manager, responsible for business stream profit and loss and leading business development opportunities. Ammar also held roles at Northrop Grumman as a Programme Manager and Project Manager, accountable for delivering complex integrated hardware and software platforms for naval platforms. Prior to that, they worked at Marshall Specialist Vehicles as a Systems Engineer and at Redirack Limited as a Project Engineer, managing the design, manufacture, and installation of various structures.

Ammar Ali pursued a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Manchester from 2003 to 2007.
