Jaafar Ben-Abdallah has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jaafar is currently employed as a Senior Data Scientist at Inmar Intelligence since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at MANN+HUMMEL Group from November 2020 to April 2021. Jaafar also served as a Data Scientist at FoodLogiQ from December 2019 to July 2020.

Earlier in their career, Jaafar worked as a Data Scientist at Inmar from September 2015 to August 2017. Jaafar also worked as a Principal Data Scientist Consultant at ManTech International Corporation from March 2015 to October 2015.

Jaafar's work experience also includes a research position at the University of Louisville, where they served as a Research Assistant at the Web Mining and Knowledge Discovery Lab from August 2009 to September 2013. Their PhD Dissertation focused on mining heterogeneous and multiple sources of data using transfer of learning and matrix factorization techniques. Jaafar has published research papers in the field of multimodal representation, indexing, automated annotation, and retrieval of image collections.

Earlier in their career, Jaafar worked as an Analog Design engineer at STMicroelectronics from September 2005 to June 2008. Their role included designing embedded non-volatile memory solutions in collaboration with the Crolles design center in France. Jaafar was responsible for the design of antifuse CMOS OTP solution of STM using tools such as Cadence Custom design and Virtuoso.

Jaafar Ben-Abdallah pursued their education in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Louisville from 2008 to 2015, where they obtained a PhD degree. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, they attended Tunisia Polytechnic School and earned an Engineer's degree in Signals and Systems. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jaafar also obtained certifications from Hortonworks. In June 2015, they became a HDP (Hortonworks Data Platform) Certified Developer. Jaafar also attained certifications in Apache Hadoop 2.0 Developer-Java and Apache Hadoop Administrator 2.x in May 2015.
