Donald Hester has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2012 as a Sales Representative at White Oak Garden Center. In 2013, they worked as a Lot Technician at Jeff Wyler Honda of Colerain. Donald later joined General Cable in 2015 as a Level 2 PC Support Co-op. During their time at the University of Cincinnati in 2015, Donald worked as a Learning Technology Support Student Worker. In 2016, they joined Inmar Scanner Applications as a Help Desk Technician and Systems Administrator Co-op. In 2018, Donald began working at Inmar Intelligence as an Analyst, End User Experience. Donald later transitioned to roles as an Associate Systems Engineer and currently serves as a Server Engineer since September 2021.

Donald Hester's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Colerain High School, where they obtained a High School Honors Diploma. Donald then pursued higher education and enrolled at the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science from 2012 to 2014, specializing in Computer Engineering but did not complete a degree. Following this, Donald Hester joined the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati in 2014, where they studied Information Technology with a focus on Networking and Cyber Security. Donald successfully completed their degree in 2018.
