Krupansh Desai is a PhD candidate at INM-Leibniz Institute for New Materials since August 2022. Previously, Krupansh collaborated on a master thesis at Heidelberg University, focusing on the design and performance of alginate-gelatin microbeads for breast cancer research, particularly assessing biomechanical cues in malignant pathology progression. Internship experiences include characterizing additively manufactured nickel-based alloys at Neue Materialien Bayreuth GmbH, as well as research assistant roles at the Institute of Biomaterials University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, where hematite and ZnO mesocrystals synthesis and characterization were conducted. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Advanced Materials and Processes from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM).
