Mong Lor has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Floor Staff at Hickory Dickory Dock in 2013, where they were responsible for maintaining a safe environment and ensuring the proper functioning of arcade games. They also handled food preparation and ensured cleanliness in the kitchen. In 2019, Mong Lor interned as an IT Service Desk Intern at ScentAir. They gained practical experience in IT support. They then joined Inland Seafood in 2020 as an Information Technology Service Desk employee, where they continue to provide IT support.

Mong Lor obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2017 to 2019.
