Barry Kelly has extensive experience in fisheries management, having worked at Inland Fisheries Ireland from August 1999 to the present, where roles have included River Moy Catchment Manager, Assistant Fisheries Inspector, Fisheries Officer, and Fisheries Environmental Officer. Prior to that, Barry held the position of Fisheries Officer with the North Western Regional Fisheries Board for a brief period in June 1999, and served as a General Operative with the Western Regional Fisheries Board from June 1997 to June 1999. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Environmental Protection from Atlantic Technological University (2021-2022) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Protection from the Institute of Technology, Sligo (2019-2021), along with various other studies in related fields from multiple institutions.
