In addition to their formal education, Waqas has also obtained several certifications. Waqas completed the AdWords Fundamentals & Display certification from Google in January 2017. In February 2016, they completed a Certificate in Multimedia, specializing in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, from Arena Multimedia.

Prior to their MBA, Waqas also obtained a certification in Organizational Behavior from MAJU in June 2010. Additionally, they acquired a certification in Communication Skills from SSUET in October 2008. Finally, they demonstrated their language proficiency by obtaining an Advance Level certification in Language Proficiency from the University of Karachi in January 2004.
