Abhayraj Naik is an experienced educator and advocate in the fields of environmental justice, climate action, and law. Currently serving as a Visiting Faculty at Krea University, Abhayraj teaches a course on ‘Environmental Justice in India.’ Abhayraj also holds the position of Coordinator for Strategy, Research, and Learning at Pipal Tree, where leadership is provided for a multi-year program focused on interfaith peace building and climate action. As a Co-Founder of Initiative for Climate Action, Abhayraj has been actively involved in promoting climate advocacy since Earth Day 2020. Additional roles include Visiting Faculty at both the National Law School of India University and Azim Premji University, where Abhayraj teaches various law and public policy courses. Abhayraj's previous experience encompasses significant teaching and research roles at the University of Minnesota and the Environment Support Group, alongside contributions to urban studies curriculum development at Bengaluru Central University. Abhayraj holds a Master's degree from Yale Law School and a Bachelor's degree from National Law School of India University.
