Clay Newby is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems administration, engineering, and DevOps. Currently serving as a Systems Admin/Engineer/DevOps at Initiate Government Solutions, LLC since December 2012, Clay Newby specializes in installing and maintaining highly available environments, including enterprise storage systems and high-security compute environments. Concurrently, Clay Newby has contributed technical expertise to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Systems Engineer since July 2012, focusing on systems scaling and the implementation of emerging technologies. Prior to these roles, Clay Newby worked at SAIC from September 2006 to July 2012 as a Systems Administrator, providing support for Windows server environments and maintaining critical equipment in server rooms and data warehouses.
